My name is Flaxee and I'm the creator behind Tiny Mountain Village. I grew up in a small town in southern Alberta and in the midst of trying to find things to do for fun, I became a crafty "DIY-er" at a young age. Whether it was a vintage dresser that needed painting or a quilt that needed making, I loved creating my own things. Fast forward to today and not much has changed. From gutting and renovating houses with my husband James, to designing my own cosmetics, to starting Tiny Mountain Village in 2020. I still love creating. 

Currently, I live in Sylvan Lake, Alberta with my wonderful husband and in the summer of 2021 we welcomed our sweet daughter, Tovah. Since 2009 I have been working full time as a Registered Dental Assistant until my recent maternity leave. I live for anything that involves a trip to the mountains with a chai latte in my hand. My husband and I love to travel and can't wait to show our little girl the world. Tiny Mountain Village has been a wonderful creative outlet for me and I look forward to continuing to produce amazing products for you.
